About Regina
Hi, I’m Regina McMenomy, Ph.D.
I’ve been called “too much,” “too sensitive,” “too curious,” and more than once, “too smart for my own good.” I spent most of my life thinking I was broken.
Turns out, I wasn’t broken. I’m neurodivergent and when I got my diagnosis at basically 50? That cracked my whole life wide open in the best (and hardest) way.
Now I help other late-diagnosed folks do the same: unlearn the nonsense, reclaim their narrative, and build a life that actually works with their brain, not against it. I’ve got a Ph.D., a BS detector set to MAX, and a heart-on-sleeve passion for making weirdness feel like home.

I have a complicated relationship with time. It’s not that I don’t care about it—believe me, I care a lot. I want to be on time. I want to remember appointments. I want to estimate how long a task will take and plan accordingly. But my brain? It just… doesn’t operate...
Understanding Revenge Bedtime Procrastination or Why I Stayed Up Until 2am (Again)
I know I need to sleep. But some nights, I just can’t make myself do it. Even when I’m exhausted, even when I know I’ll feel it the next morning, I find myself staying up. Scrolling. Clicking. Binge-watching. Or worse . . . doing dishes. It’s not logical. But it’s...
Emotional Immaturity in Neurodivergent Adults
Emotional Immaturity Isn’t a Flaw—It’s a Developmental Detour “I feel very vulnerable when I’m angry… because I have the emotional maturity of a toddler when it comes to dealing with my anger.” That moment—raw, honest, and deeply personal—was the heart of a recent...
